my second sis birthday today. bought a cake for her.

finally.....i got my first hair high-light today..^^
special thx to er zi, who recommended me to the saloon which is the cheapest i can find. ^^ $58including cutting/trimming my hair. quite worthwhile, at least, to me.

finally gotten my blue ic^^
today is fast though. which is a huge, enormous, gigantic, contrast to last week....
jus within 5min, my ic is ready for collection, no queuing oso.
so, the PR service counter is slower than snail, but the citizens ic collection counter is faster than wind blow. hm...
huge contrast eh. no matter wat, i m glad dat all thing troublesome things r over.

yesterday, which was a monday, i went to ICA building to collect my PR.
it was a monday, yet there was a crowd....zzz
and i had a extremely unpleasant experience at the ICA PR services centre, though i had collected my entry permit yesterday.
7243 was my number, still 100ppl to go, so i thought i may hav to wait for another 1 to 1 1/2hrs b4 it is my turn. however i waited for 4hrs!!! damn.
after the long hours of waiting, it was finally my turn. the counter lady told me dat i still got to go to another counter to do my ic, and i had to wait again. 15 more ppl to go, so i thought the waiting time would be shorter, maybe 1hr. only 15ppl, but there r 6 counters serving u see.
but proved dat i was wrong again, i waited for another bloody 3hrs. wth. i waited another 3hrs jus to get my thumbprint printed. the service sucks.
after that, i still got to wait for abt 15min to collect my passport.
i nv noe the service is so lousy. can't all the things be done at 1 counter? my whole day was spoilt, is really a waste of time.
furthermore, i still nid to collect my new ic the next monday. will merely collection of ic be as slow as yesterday?

though i m quite lazy to update recently, but i think i mus note down something for me to remember as one of my memories. which is ... visiting kbox for the first time of my life.(on fri 10aug07)
the first time i sing infront of other ppl, and poor er zi and qing ai de had to bear wif my uhum.. broken voice. haha. =p
i noe it is no big deal, but to me, it is unusual. especially when going wif er zi and qing ai de. haha

exams r coming and i dun hav the mood to study, which is really very bad. wat can i do, my eyelids turn heavy the moment i take out my notes. haiz.
i really hate the hack-care-me.

studying for physio exam which falls on 7th aug, which is next tues. a total of 9 chapters!!! omg, how m i suppose to memorise so much stuffs. the scientific terms itself is damn hard to rmb.
let's see an example:

*mechanism of non-sterois hormone actions
-non steroid hormone binds to receptors on the cell surface
-sets off aseries of reactions to activate an enzyme
-enzyme catalysts the conversion of ATP(andenosine tripple phosphate) to cAMP(cyclic andenosine mono phosphate), a second messenger
-cAMP then acts on other cellular proteins which cause the hormonal effect.
*mechanism of steroid hormone action
-lipid soluble hormone pass through the cell membrane
-enter the nucleus
-binds to specific receptor protein
-hormone receptor complex binds to DNA
-activate certain genes to transcribe mRNA
-mRNA gets translated to new proteins
-proteins stimulate the changes in the cell activities.

this is only 1% of wat i m going to study...who cares how the hormones inside our body work actually.

i m really going to curse the guy who REQUESTED for the structure essay qns in our exam!!
originally, the exam consists only mcq and fill-in-the-blanks qns, then this xxxxxxxx boy went to request for seq. wth. and the reason is bcos, he always pon physio, and he noe nth for this module, since he noes he will do badly in his exam, he wanna make the exam difficult for all students, then he will hav ppl to "accompany" him failing. this is so absurd...really wanted to 'murder' him...hahaaha

anterior pituitary gland produces--> human growth hormone, luteinising hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, prolactin, andrenocorticotropic hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone.
hypothalamus produces--> oxytoxin, anti-diuretic hormone, and these r stored in posterior pituitary gland for secretion.
pancreas produces--> insulin, glucagon
