yesterday night, before my sister and i went to sleep, we had dis funny chat abt the number of animals(including insects...ect) we hav had before.... our speech went on like dis..(in cantonese, i translated into english^^)
chin(my sis): jie ar, u rmb how many creatures we had kept as 'pet' before?
me: i dun rmb how many, but a lot....(thinking)
chin: let's count bah.
so we went off to really count our previous 'pets' ....
me: let's see...hm... y not we talk abt the warm blooded first.(u hav to believe)
chin: chics, duckling, kittens doggys, birds, hamsters...still got mah? (take note of the "s", is true)
me: still got squirrel.... though we had it for only one week....
chin: then cold blooded de, ur turn to say, say insects first hor.
me: we got.... ants, crickets, grasshoppers, spiders, caterpillars, butterfly(caterpillar turned into de), meal worms, mosquitoes...haha, oh ya earthworm, anymore?
chin: no more le bah... then we still got fishes(many kinds), prawns, tortoises, aiyo dunnoe still got wat lah....
me: not a live de included or not?
chin: which one?
me: rmb? we got "rear" mercury before, in a glass bottle, dat time we still small, and we r so silly dat we fed mercury wif water.....>< chin: oh ya, nearly forgotten.... haha
***edit---some 'pets' to add on: praying mantis, tadpoles, frogs, snails, lizards....
dat's our conversation last night, haha. now in my home in M'sia, we r still keeping a dog, a duck, a bird, a tortoise, 2 hamsters, many fishes....
my dad always says our home is a zoo, which....hm... i dun agree, i wan more animals...heehee
i noe some ppl will be scared of us due to our strange interests...>< i noe my family is odd, as my parents never forbid us from rearing all kinds of strange animals...... maybe my parents r oso animals lovers..^^
